Montessori education was founded in 1907 by Dr. Maria Montessori, the first woman in Italy to become a physician. She based her educational methods on scientific observation of children’s learning processes. Guided by her discovery that children teach themselves, Dr. Montessori designed a “prepared environment” in which children could freely choose from numerous developmentally appropriate activities.
ABC Montessori is an ISO certified unit of an educational trust with a mission to nurture, inspire, and support development of strong successful Montessori preschools across India and abroad as a part of its endeavour to improve education.
Our education system emphasizes on learning through all five senses and not just through listening, watching, or reading. Children in Montessori classes learn at their own, individual pace and according to their own choice of activities from hundreds of possibilities that focuses on enhancing their innate intelligence and helps in highlighting their latent skills.
Our classes place children in age groups starting as early as 18 months onwards. The Montessori way of imparting education represents an entirely different approach to learning. Research studies have shown that Montessori children are well prepared for the future years, academically, socially, and emotionally.
This system of education ensures accelerated growth of children by allowing them to explore, examine, and investigate the environment. The freedom they enjoy in deciding their activities help them develop their potential talents and imagination to the optimum level in a highly nourishing and nurturing classroom environment. ABC Montessori has adopted the Montessori methodology bestowed upon the world by one of the leading advocates of Early Childhood Education for educating and nurturing young children and we feel that ABC Montessori is the right institution to set up the learning foundation for your little ones.
We are now open for admissions. Registration for admission can be done for your child at any time during the year on payment of a small sum. However, admission will be done on dates that would be announced by the school itself. Parents need not register in advance and may directly approach the school for admission at the appropriate time. Admission form is available in the prospectus, which is a priced document. The admission form must be submitted in the school office along with payment through A/C Payee Cheque / DD favouring ABC Montessori or in cash within the specified time frame. Due to limited seats, admissions will be done on first come first served basis (subject to the fulfilment of admission requirements). A merit group/class wise list will be prepared of students who cannot be accommodated in the available seats. This list will be used for inviting students for admission in the event of any vacancy being created in the respective class.
